CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CLIENTS AND FRIENDS WHO BOUGHT/SOLD HOMES IN September!
I am thankful to be writing to you tonight. Our community survived Hurricane Irma and our clients fared quite well. In our office, we suffered a delay in 2 transactions, but each of them have closed now and the sellers and buyers are happy.
When a hurricane comes through the area, it halts all real estate activity in a few ways: insurance, lending and banking. When a hurricane is within a certain distance of us, the insurance companies will not "bind" a new policy to a property. They want to see the hurricane come and go before they provide coverage. Without insurance coverage, the bank won't issue a mortgage on the property. And, in the event that we actually have a hurricane actively in the state, most banks cease their wiring activities and we just can't get the money to the closing table. All of these things happened to us and our clients. Thankfully, it is all behind us and our clients have accomplished their goals.
We want you to know that we are committed to you and to your well-being. Doing whatever it takes to accomplish your goals is our commitment and our joy. We love serving you and the people you send us. Thank you for caring about us, and as always, we are here to serve you.
P.S. We have moved offices! We moved next door. Our new address is 1010 East Avenue. We double our office space!
HOME-SELLING TIP In a seller's market live we've had for the last several years, homes rarely stay on the market. So, when a house fits the budget and checks off all the needs, buyers should not hesitate. Buyers should be ready to submit and offer quickly or risk missing out on the home altogether. altogether.
